Rhythm & Rolling - Day Retreat

A Holistic Day of Self Care

Join us for a one-day event that will leave you feeling revitalized and refreshed. Rhythmic Reframing is a marriage of mindfulness, movement, affirmation, rhythm and sound developed by Tanya Porter. Yoga Tune Up® Roll Model Massage (led by Elaine Jackson) is a powerful self-healing technique that will allow you to embody your body more fully and release the tissues where daily stresses reside. This day will give you tools you can use to reset your body, mind and energy level so you can get behind the things that matter most to you.

The event will be held at Radiant Joy Yoga in Uxbridge. A delicious and nutritious lunch will be included.

Space & Time - Day Retreat

A Day to Remember Your Nature, Your Rhythm, Your Self

Explore and experience powerful ancient practices to regain a sense of spaciousness and timelessness and reconnect with your true nature. During this one-day retreat, you’ll be guided by yoga, meditation and drum teacher Tanya Porter through gentle yoga, walking in the woods meditation and African hand drumming in a stunning natural setting. You will benefit from gentle physical exercise, connection with nature and other great people, awakening of the spirit, and vibrational healing through drumming all while having lots of fun and relaxation. A delicious and healthy lunch is included.

Tanya - Meditation Teacher

Tanya is a certified yoga instructor from the The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, recognized by the Yoga Alliance in the USA and Canada.


She has been practising yoga and meditation for 23 years, and did a 10-year apprentice with Judith McCaffery, senior teacher in the Sivananda lineage. She has been teaching yoga and meditation privately for 16 years, and before that through the TDSB for 4 years.  Tanya has a classical foundation for her mediation practice but also includes her study in the fields of psychology, neuro-science, shamanic energy practices and mindfulness in her teaching. She is registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance with a designation of CYA-RYT 500.
