Roll, Relax and Release: A Self Care Virtual Retreat
Want to reset your body for a new year? Have you been tense, achey or irritable? The daily stresses we accumulate are remembered by our bodies, like invisible tattoos. But you can release these patterns of pain and tension, and reset your nervous system to "turn down the dial" on your distress.
Join Tanya Porter and Elaine Jackson for a special Zoom retreat designed to help you rediscover relaxation, and comb the knots out of your nervous system. This workshop will feature self massage (with Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls), breathing techniques, and meditation. Come away feeling soothed in mind and body.
At our last retreat (in November) we did a very global rollout. This time around, we'll cover the whole body, but we'll spend more time on the upper back, shoulders and neck--the areas most often strained by long hours in front of screens.
Also, a reminder to those who joined us last time, if you wish to register again you will be given a ten dollar discount.
Date and Time: Saturday, January 23 @ 10am - 1pm.
Fee: $75 (HST included)
